I'm Khalidah! UK based animator, filmmaker and nap enthusiast.

From showing my work to small groups of friends to screening my films at festivals across the world, I've always found ways to share my stories. Character-driven narratives about flawed, but ultimately lovable, people bring me the most joy and are, therefore, the types of narratives I love to create. I want to make you laugh, think and maybe cry a little too.

In 2023, my short film “Please Clap” was nominated for best animation at the BFI Future Film Festival. In addition, it was broadcast on local television as part of the Brighton International Animation Festival and received screenings abroad in countries such as Greece and the USA. Since then, I have worked with multiple studios on various projects ranging from ads to children's TV shows such as Maddie and Triggs on Cbeebies.

Ultimately, I'm an artist who makes things move and I'm (hopefully) coming to a screen near you!
